Which iPods can use CyraKnow software?

You will need an iPod that has the Notes reader feature. These include:
- iPod (with a Dock Connector)
- iPod (with a Click Wheel)
- iPod mini
- iPod nano

Can I give CyraKnow as gift?
|
|
Sure. When you purchase your CyraKnow product you will receive an email containing a download link for it. To give it as a gift simply forward the email, or copy/paste the download link and send it to the person you wish to give it to so that they may download it for themselves. |

Can CyraKnow products be used from within iTunes?
|
|
No. CyraKnow is made to be used only on your iPod, not from within iTunes, from your desktop, or any other application or device. Only on your iPod can you access the menu system necessary to view the appropriate audio files. Without the menu system to help guide you to the correct file, finding what you are looking for is not possible. |

How will I receive my CyraKnow software?

All CyraKnow products are received in a compressed .zip format via download to your computer. Once your purchase is made you will receive an email with a link allowing you to download your purchase. The link is active for 120 hours (5 days) or 5 download attempts. Whichever comes first. |

My iPod doesn't appear in iTunes or on the desktop.

How do I keep phrases from repeating?

1. Go to "Main Menu"
2. Go to "Settings"
3. Go to "Repeat" and click until it says "Off"

Can I use more than one language at a time on my iPod?
|
|
Yes. Rambler allows for all of the language packs we offer to be loaded and accessible on your iPod at once as long as you have the storage capacity to hold them all.
(Each phrase book varies in size, but currently, the largest individual package is 80MB.) |

Am I able to use my notes as well as the CyraKnow notes I install?

When listening to music I get interrupted by CyraKnow audio files.
|
|
Due to the current limitations of the iPod, separating your CyraKnow audio files from your music is not possible. This can be confusing when trying to listen to music and suddenly being interrupted by someone in a foreign language asking where the nearest hotel is for example.
As a suggestion, a way to get around this would be to make a playlist, select the music you would like to listen to (this may include your entire music library) and add it to the playlist. This way you can select and play directly from this playlist in shuffle mode or whichever way you choose without being distracted by unwanted audio files. |
